TANNER AND ALYSSA
SPRING ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN EDMONTON
Spring is a perfect season for an engagement photoshoot if you have a summer wedding. Tanner and Alyssa are such a sweet and adorable couple. They were so patient with the location in Edmonton because it was covered with mosquitos and biting gnats. It was terrible, but they were troopers and so patient. The Spring season in Edmonton is also beautiful because it has a perfect temperature! I would recommend having plenty of Claritin and Zyrtec on hand, just in case allergies start to flare up during portrait time. The first week of spring usually means the potential for some blooms! If you happen to find any blooming tree or plant, it will be worth it for a few minutes of portraits, and for sure, you will LOVE the result! They never fail to amaze us and always turn out so beautiful! They usually start blooming around the River Valley Parks and Downtown in Edmonton. The cherry blossoms and these beautiful Crab apple trees in Edmonton typically have a schedule of their own, but, thankfully we were able to capture them at the end of May. Although I swear every year, they bloom at a different time! They are so hard to schedule around, as they seem to bloom at their own pace! So here are some of my favorite images from their beautiful spring engagement session in Edmonton.
Pro Tip 1:
For girls – You need to get your haircut at least a month before your session if necessary. For guys – A week before your session. A haircut will make your hair more shiny, healthy, and natural for your session.
Another Pro Tip:
Clean the ring! I love to include a few snaps of close-up ring shots during the session! It’s always nice to have a photo with your beautiful engagement ring during the engagement session.
